Hoarder Story #3
A motor vehicle hoarders’ clean. Fransie van Niekerk viewed this as a once in a lifetime opportunity and was ready to face the challenge.
Due to the unusual nature of the quote it took some time and a lot of brain power to make sure everything was included. Once the quote was submitted, it did not take long for the client to accept and then everything was on its way.
On inspection, it was evident that Fransie would need an expert in motor vehicle parts to help them sort through the house. Every room was filled with motor vehicle and engine parts and there was even a tractor in the back yard with 20+ vehicles.
Luckily the new appointed carpet cleaning supervisor was a highly qualified “grease monkey” whom then supervised the sorting and organising of all parts.
After that the deep cleaning could start in the house.
Then the house was rearranged and organised to make it a “home” again.
Step by step, chaos turned to order. All hands-on deck resulted in a 5-day operation. They had to make use of 16 staff members (4 supervisors and 12 cleaning ladies) to get the house clean. Firstly, everything had to be sorted and items not used had to be wrapped and packed away.
